Broad City Cruise Past Valiant in Final Fixture

Broad City secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Valiant in the Lagos Derby played at the Legacy Pitch on Monday.

The home team, who finished in the top three in the maiden season of the TCC, barely left the bottom spot all season and it was an unfamiliar position for them, while Broad City have blown hot and cold but they still sit in the top five.

Midway through the game on Monday, the Citizens got the game’s opening goal through Allionida Quadri and the away side took the lead into the break.

Meanwhile, the home side failed to create any major goalscoring chances during the game as they were punished once again after the interval. Quadri completed his brace with just eight minutes to go to secure all three points for his side. 

Not the best campaign for the brave boys but Broad City will definitely be proud of their efforts this particular season.
