Dino put three past Valiant in an emphatic home victory.
But it was far from a smooth-sailing victory for them as they conceded in the third minute of the game.
An unmarked Ayomide Akinsola was on hand to finish off a counter-attacking move, putting Valiant in front. It took the hosts until the half-hour mark to draw level, but it was a goal worth waiting for.
Hassan Agbede’s left-footed curler from 25 yards out bounced off the base of the woodwork before rolling into the net.
Five minutes later, the attacking midfielder was on the scoresheet again, this time scoring from inside the 18-yard area. A quick one-two put him through on goal with only the keeper to beat. A fierce shot was enough to rattle the onion bag and put the hosts ahead.
In the 69th minute, Hassan completed his hat-trick, this time scoring a header that put the result beyond any doubt. The result sees Dino win back-to-back games for a first time this season while Valiant’s topsy-turvy season continues.
