Iganmu was the latest victim of Real Sapphire’s unbeaten start to the season as they suffered a 2-0 loss away from home.
Both sides started the game evenly matched, but the chances were few and far between. The wait for the first goal would drag into the second half as both sides went into the break without a goal.
In the 52nd minute, Ibrahim Joshua raced onto a defense-splitting pass, dragging out the goalkeeper before sending his low shot into the net from an almost-impossible angle. 32 minutes later, one became two for the hosts as Ismail Adam’s goal put the final nail in the coffin.
For Iganmu, it’s another loss in a season where they’re still waiting for their first win of the season.
