Beyond Limits Hit Dino for Six in Statement Win

Beyond Limits secured their top spot for another week as they outclassed Dino 6-2.

It took Coach Olumide’s side only six minutes to break the deadlock, with Yusuf Saka pouncing on a loose ball in the box, firing home from close range. 11 minutes later however, the visitors drew level, with Samuel Obudu sending Daniel Aiyenugba the wrong way after the goalie brought down Amos Adzuu.

Both goalkeepers brought their A-game as they thwarted attempts by each side to take the lead. On the stroke of half-time however, a quick Dino break put Samuel Obudu in a good position to score. His shot, while taking a huge deflection, flew beyond Aiyenugba’s reach and into the net.

But a determined Beyond Limits side drew level before the end of the half. Rawa Muhammed’s strike from just outside the 18-yard area curled past Toriola Hammed into the top right-hand corner of the goal, leveling matters in style.

The hosts regained their lead 14 minutes into the 2nd half as an unmarked Emmanuel Adegboyejo fired home from close range, marking the start of a dominant performance that saw the hosts score four goals in 30+ minutes.

Yusuf Saka doubled his tally in the 63rd minute before Merveille Akinocho got in on the action 15 minutes later. A Dino own goal in the 90th minute summed up the action as the hosts swept Dino aside in a statement win.
