Dannaz Grab First Win of the Season as Valiant Fall Flat (Again)

Dannaz’s wait for a first win of the season is now over after defeating Valiant 2-1.

Coach Bashiru’s youngsters began the game in high spirits, testing the resolve of Valiant’s defense. The visitors would cave in to the pressure in the 21st minute as Dannaz scored a rare first goal.

Shuaib Muhammad was on hand to finally tuck the ball home after a series of missed kicks that almost turned the situation into a big chance missed.

Malek Sanusi, four minutes later, drew his side level as the visitors showed no interest in letting their hosts out of their sight.

But they would eventually get left behind as Godonou Joel, in the second half, scored the winner. Despite being a 64th minute goal, there was nothing Valiant could do to draw level.
