Gbagada Grab First Win of the Season as Dannaz Woes Continue

Gbagada’s first goal of the season was enough to secure a first win of the season – a triumph over Dannaz.

Both sides started slow, with the first 10 minutes a quiet affair. Things picked up pace in the following 10 minutes as things became an end-to-end affair. The half fizzled out without a goal as both sides continued to struggle.

Just after the hour mark, the Blue Eagles broke the deadlock, thanks to Victor Emmanuel’s goal. The substitute, who came on in the 58th minute, bagged his goal in the 64th minute. Talk about being a game-changer.

Victor’s goal was enough to help Coach Akinyelu secure victory as the Lagosians moved up to ninth on the log table. For Dannaz, the wait for their first point of the season continues.
