Dino’s First Win of the Season Heaps More Woes on Iganmu

Three unreplied goals were enough for Dino to secure their first league win of the season.

Coach Gibson’s side began the game on the finest note possible, scoring in the opening 15 minutes. Zakari Haruna pounced on a failed clearance by Mufutau in goal. The captain wasted no time in converting the chance, giving Dino an early lead.

He was involved in the second goal, releasing Pascal Okoli down the flanks with a smooth pass in the second half. The defender’s low cross into the box was met by Daniel Effiong, who side-footed the ball past Mufutau. Hassan Agbede wrapped up the scoring for the hosts as Iganmu finished another league game without scoring.

Coach Kabiru’s side have now managed three games in a row without a goal. They remain the only side yet to find the back of the net this season.
