Brave Boys Downed as VOE End Season with Victory

VOE handed Valiant a 2-0 defeat in their final outing of the 2025/2026 TCC League season.

Both started out with one aim: To finish the league campaign with a win. But fans had to wait until the 11th minute before the first goal of the game. VOE, having grown into the game, found space behind Valiant’s defense thanks to a well-floated pass. Shogbaike was in the right place at the right time to control the ball, pick his preferred angle before firing VOE in front.

The Brave Boys pushed back for a chance to level the scores before the break but to no avail.

Just like in the 1st half, VOE again struck first in the 2nd half, extending their lead in the 56th minute. The Valiant defense was again caught napping, forcing Kolo Samson to rush out of the 18-yard area to thwart a counter-attacking move. The move however left him stranded in No Man’s Land. With no one in goal, Ajani Waheed lobbed one over Samson,  from 30 yards out, and into the net.

Valiant had no response for the hosts, letting them run out winners and move into fifth spot at the expense of Broad City.
