Dino See Off Iganmu Tigers for Last Hoorah

After two months without a league win, Dino capped off a not-so-eventful 2nd half of the season with a 2-1 win against Iganmu.

The game began with an early Dino goal, as Samuel Obudu broke the deadlock early in the game. His 11th minute goal calmed early nerves as both sides had begun the contest with nervy play. Coach Godwin’s side built on that momentum and bagged a second goal (Samuel Obudu’s brace) just before the half-hour mark, gaining control of the game.

Iganmu, desperate for a first league win, pressed in the 2nd half, for an equalizer. But they could only muster a 76th minute goal, a goal that could not save them from defeat. In the end, they failed to win any game in the 2025/2026 season, garnering only three points.
