Champions Celebrate Title Party with Five-Goal Thriller

Beyond Limits capped off their home campaign in the 2025/2026 TCC League with a 3-2 win over Broad City.

With the trophy and winners’ medal waiting to be handed to the players, the champions got the goal fest started in the 18th minute. Akinocho Marvelle was on hand to take advantage of a defensive mix-up before flicking the ball into an empty net.

The visitors pulled one back three minutes into the 2nd half. But it was not enough to douse the champions’ spirits as they regained the lead 11 minutes later. In usual fashion, Marvelle was in the right place at the right time to tap the ball into an empty net and restore Beyond Limits’ lead.

Between the 59th minute and the 70th minute, both sides scored one apiece, with Broad City bent on getting something from Ikenne in their quest to fight for third place. But all they did was not enough as they succumbed to defeat at the hands of the best side in the league who have now been crowned champions for a historic five times.
