Draw Masters Strike Again as Dino, Dannaz Share Points

Dino forced a sixth draw of the season after coming from behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Dannaz.

The fixture began as a balanced affair, with both sides making a cautious approach to the encounter. But all that lasted only 12 minutes as the hosts threw caution to the wind, exchanging it for a lead in the game. Akhigbe Monike found space in a crowded 18-year to fire the ball into the roof of the net as the Cedars went in front.

But Dino, not one to lay low, pushed for an equalizer, and restored parity in the 26th minute. John Paul’s long cross into the box found Gerald Uzoma who controlled the ball with his chest before lobbing it over the goalkeeper for the equalizer.

12 minutes later, it was Dannaz’s turn to take the lead again. This time, it was Farouq who rattled the onion bag to restore Dannaz lead which they took into the break. That lead however did not last long as Gerald Uzoma struck in the 2nd half, leveraging on Dannaz’s poor defense to pull his side level again.

Both sides would fail to convert the handful of chances that followed, thereby forcing them to settle for a draw.
