Four-midable Dannaz put Tigers to the sword

Real Sapphire bounced back to winning ways over the weekend, edging Atlantic Business 2-1.

The hosts, hungry for goals, pushed hard as they started the game on the front foot. They were however met by an equally motivated opposition, aiming for the same goal. With both sides evenly matched, the first half played out without a goal.

The breakthrough would eventually come, eight minutes into the second 45.

Amole Abidemi, in the right place at the right time, made the most of a delicious cross, to put Real Sapphire ahead. Just before the 70th-minute mark, the hosts doubled their lead. An unmarked  Akinfenwa Musa tucked the ball home from close range as yet another cross exposed Atlantic Business’ frail defense

Atlantic Business pulled one back in the 76th minute. But it was a little too late as Real Sapphire rode out the storm, securing a first win of the season.
