Four-midable Dannaz put Tigers to the sword

Dannaz secured their first win of the season in style, putting four past Iganmu.

The Cedars got their business to a perfect start when, in the 12th minute, Usman Abdullahi put them in front with a cool finish. The hosts doubled their lead 11 minutes later as Sunday Osarenkhoe bagged a goal on his debut for the hosts.

An overwhelmed Iganmu side struggled to keep up, as their cracks in their defense lines were exposed time and again.

Nine minutes into the restart, all of the manager’s pep talk was made of no effect as Usman Abdullahi bagged his brace, putting the game further beyond Iganmu’s reach. David Oyebade would make it four in the 64th minute, as Dannaz cruised to a morale-boosting victory.

Conceding 10 goals in the first two games of the season is a worrying stat for Iganmu. They must find defensive solutions fast if they’re to make the most of the season.
