Sanusi Shines Again as Broad City Extend Winning Run

Broad City made it three wins in as many games, defeating Valiant 2-1.

Despite playing on enemy territory, the Pride of Lagos hit the ground running as they pressed their hosts for an early goal. Unable to contain the pressure, Valiant conceded a penalty, with Emmanuel Adeyemo bringing down Hanif Sanusi in the 18-yard area. After the dust settled, Sanusi stepped up to the spot and converted, putting his side in front after 30 minutes of play. 

On the stroke of half-time, Sanusi struck again. A quick free-kick caught the Valiant defense napping. The winger, who was in the right place at the right time, fired home from the edge of the area to double the visitors’ lead.

Abdullahi Mohammed pulled one back for the Brave Boys 14 minutes from time. But it wasn’t enough for the hosts as they dropped points for a second game in a row.
