Sporting Lagos Continue Unbeaten Run with Dino Triumph

Sporting Lagos made the most of their home support by defeating Dino 4-1 in a comprehensive victory.

The first of the five goals scored came in the 12th minute when Fabian Sylvanus inadvertently scored in his own goal. The Lagosians had to wait until the second half for their second goal. But it was inevitable.

Lucky John got himself on the score sheet in the 69th minute after converting from the spot. A minute later, he would score again to extend Sporting’s lead. Before the end of the game, there was still time for Stanley Chukwu to score Sporting Lagos’ fourth just before Samuel Obudu scored Dino’s consolation goal.

A statement win for the Lagosians in the fight for a Top 4 finish.
