Points Shared in Top-of-the-Table Clash as Real Sapphire Remain Unbeaten

Real Sapphire and Beyond Limits drew blanks in a feisty top-of-the table clash. 

The reigning champions came into the game hot on the heels of the log leaders. Knowing that win could move them within three points of Real Sapphire, Beyond Limits pressed early in the game. They were however met by a sturdy, unrelenting opponent who had an answer for their every move.

Real Sapphire’s chances, on the other hand, were thwarted by a brilliant Daniel in goal. The goalkeeper single-handedly kept his side in the game, making save after save.

Coach Olumide’s boys seemed to be playing against 12 men, with Real Sapphire buoyed by a lively home support. That, and an unusually quiet attacking group meant Beyond Limits were forced to settle for a draw, a result that now leaves them six points off the top.

For Real Sapphire, their unbeaten run this season continues, as they move closer to a maiden TCC League title.
