Atlantic Business became the first side to win a TCC League game this season by a seven-goal margin as they thrashed Imperial 7-0.
Ledogo Wisdom kicked off the goal-scoring spree in the 23rd minute, blasting home from close range to put the visitors in front. 12 minutes later, Atlantic Business extended their lead as Sabitu also got in on the action, fighting off his marker before finishing things off with his left foot.
Before the half ended, Coach Daniel’s boys were five to the good, with Damilare Johnson getting a six-minute brace.
In the second half, things went from bad to worse for Imperial as they conceded two minutes after the restart. Hamza’s attempted pass from the back was intercepted by Chukwuemeka Nnaji. The second-half sub rolled the ball into an empty net, scoring Atlantic’s sixth.
Ledogo Wisdom rounded off the scoring in the 89th minute, wrapping up a statement win for Atlantic Business.
