First Win in Three for Beyond Limits as Imperial Falter

Beyond Limits got back to winning ways in style with an impressive 3-1 win over Imperial.

The reigning champions entered the game without a win in their last two. But 14 seconds after kick-off, they were ahead, in a game they dominated. Merveille was the main actor as he dribbled past three players before tucking the ball beneath the goalkeeper.

Imperial, shaken from the early goal, tried to find their balance. But things only got worse 14 minutes later as Merveille grabbed his second. A simple tap of the ball into an empty net strengthened Beyond Limits’ grip on the game.

Imperial, second best the entire half, kicked off the second half the livelier side. For all of their efforts however, they conceded again. The 58th minute goal, converted from the spot, was scored by Merveille, who had earlier been felled in the box.

The hosts would pull one back – from the spot – in the 79th minute. But it was too little too late for them as Beyond Limits picked up their third away win of the year.
