VOE continued their winning streak away from home as they pipped Broad City to a 2-1 win.

It wasn’t the smoothest sail for the visitors as they had to deal with an early press from Broad City. But once they settled into the game, they found their rhythm, which led to the opening goal.

Ogunfile Daniel was sent on his way down the right in an attacking move. His low cross into the box found Taiwo Abdulraheem whose shot sent the ball into the top right hand corner of the post.

They were however unable to hold onto that lead for long as Broad City drew level in the 28th minute.

Jeremiah Christopher finished off a move that saw seven Broad City players exchange nine passes.

But VOE would have the final say as Taiwo got his double in the 70th minute, a goal that would seal the win for the visitors. A crucial win for Coach Balogun’s boys as they continue to fight for a spot in the top half of the table.
