Title Campaign Bump for Real Sapphire at Atlantic Business

Real Sapphire’s title charge hit a bump at Real Sapphire as both sides settled for a point apiece.

Although the contest started with both sides evenly matched, Real Sapphire broke the deadlock in the 18th minute. Joshua Ibrahim intercepted a pass from the center-back, before tucking the ball beneath the goalkeeper, putting the visitors in front.

Atlantic Business, having won their last two matches, were not ready to end that run. And so, six minutes into the second half, the hosts drew level after Damilare Johnson converted from the spot.

That turned out to be the last goal of the game as both sides shared the spoils, a result that may come back to hurt Real Sapphire’s quest for glory.
