Atlantic Business scored two in each half to defeat Imperial 4-1 and keep up their chase of the log leaders.
Moyosore Onikoyi got the goals party started in the second minute, scoring a worldie after an assist from his goalkeeper, Abass Wahab. The stunning goal set the tone for the pace of the game as Imperial struggled to contain a lively Business Team that meant business.
With 25 minutes on the clock, the hosts struck again, taking advantage of a defensive mix up, an opportunity Timi Destiny finished off with a powerful header. Five minutes from time, Abass Wahab was at it again, this time thwarting an Imperial chance as the visitors caught their host on the break.
Eight minutes into the 2nd half, Atlantic Business bagged a third goal, courtesy Chinonse Onyegbulam, who converted from the spot after being felled in the area. Four minutes later, Chinonso bagged his brace, finishing off a Bassey assist.
Imperial’s 65th minute goal ended up being a consolation goal as Atlantic Business ran out comfortable winners.
