Sporting Lagos Steal Point with Second Half Revival

Two second half goals earned Sporting Lagos a point as they held Imperial to a draw.

The visitors had a rough start to the game, coming up short in duels and organization. The hosts, on the other hand, seemed prepared for their opponents and pushed aggressively for the opener.

They would get it in the 31st minute as Aremo David scored another TCC League goal, putting the hosts in front. Three minutes later, Blessing Ejimole doubled Imperial’s tally, thus putting Coach Opeyemi’s side firmly in control.

The second half however came with a twist, ss Sporting Lagos were the quickest off the blocks. Linus Zika pulled one back in the 50th minute before Stanley Chukwu drew his side level three minutes later.

Both sides would settle for a draw at the final whistle, sharing the spoils.
