Beyond Limits returned to just three points behind the log leaders with 2-1 win over Gbagada.

But it wasn’t the rosiest start for the reigning champions who conceded in the first minute of the game. But that lead lasted only seven minutes as Toheeb Abiodun pulled Beyond Limits level, with Lukman out of position. The goalkeeper was again caught in No Man’s land, this time in the 10th, as Beyond Limits launched a counter-attack. The ball would ricochet off Sati Sallau before rolling into an empty net.

The rest of the half – and the game – would go on to feature an exciting back-and-forth between both sides but without goals. Gbagada, at the end, slumped to a ninth TCC League defeat against Beyond Limits as Coach Olumide’s side strengthened its grip on second, with an eye on the table-toppers, Real Sapphire.
