Brave Boys Suffer Defeat at Dino

Sixtus Elegalam’s goal (from the penalty spot) in the second minute of stoppage time was Valiant’s second. But it came a little too late as Dino ran out 3-2 winners.

The contest started with a high-octane 1st half that had everything except a red card, a penalty and goals. Both sides were guilty of wasting chances as the goalkeepers had little to do.

All of that however changed in the 2nd half as hosts, Dino, opened the scoring in the 48th minute. In their first attack of the half, a low cross found Gerald Uzoma who fired home from close range.

Five minutes later, they doubled their lead.

Basit Adams was on hand to fumble the ball over the line after a goal-mouth scramble. Just before the hour mark, Dino struck again. This time, one pass after another carved open the Valiant defense before Amos Adzuu’s deft touch finished off the play.

Sixtus Elegalam’s 66th minute goal was the pick of the bunch, as he curled it into the right hand corner of Jairus goal. But in the end, his two goals came short as Dino ran out winners.
