City too Broad for Valiant as Brave Boys Humbled on the Road

Broad City picked up their first win since November as they defeated Valiant 2-0.

It started out as a quiet affair, with both sides taking a cautious approach. Although the hosts saw more of the ball, they had little to show for their ball possession. The quiet half seemed destined to end without a goal until the 41st minute when Broad City broke the deadlock.

A sloppy Valiant defense gave the ball away in the 18-yard area. Jeremiah Christopher was on hand to knock a low shot past Seth to put his side in front.

The scorer turned provider in the 73rd minute as Valiant’s defense were caught napping again. Receiving the ball in the 18-yard area unmarked, Jeremiah Christopher’s shot ricocheted off Bakare Ayomide’s foot and into the net. A comfortable win for the hosts as they move into third place on the log.
