Broad City continued their fine form on the road with a 2-1 victory over Iganmu.
The first goal for the visitors came in the 22nd minute, Uche Ezegwu getting the opener. The striker bullied off his markers to get a final touch on the ball, sending it past the goalie for the first goal of the game.
22 minutes later, Broad City doubled their lead. Chidubem won a penalty after being brought down in the 18-yard area, Hanif Sanusi stepped up and converted, extending the lead for the Adeyemi Kazeem-led side.
Four minutes into the 2nd half, the hosts pulled one back. Abayomi Kuniji finished off a well-worked team move with a fierce shot which ricochetted off the woodwork into the net. It would end up being Iganmu’s only goal of the game as they fell to yet another league defeat.
