Beyond Limits started off their December in style as they put three past Broad City.
The reigning champions, without a win in their last two, came into the contest hungry. And the hunger spoke for itself when they broke the deadlock in the sixth minute.
After starting the game on the front foot and being denied a handful of times, Merveille powered home his header from close range, putting the hosts in front.
One became two in the 24th minute as Valentine Nweke’s sumptuous finish from a freekick rattled Broad City’s onion bag.
Broad City tried to pull one back just before half-time. But they found a worthy opponent in Daniel Aiyenugba who kept them at bay.
Kparobo, who came on in the second half, would go on to wrap up the goals as he converted his penalty in the 87th minute. An impressive win for the hosts but troubling times for the visitors who have now lost two in a row.
