And so it ends, another season of perspiration, intensity and perhaps ingenuity. However, the crowning moment of the 2022 TCC Cup won’t be complete without the two styles that take to the pitch. 

Dino SC arrive the finals having defeated defending champions, Gbagada FC on penalties. Holders of the joint second longest unbeaten run in TCC history; they arrive in the final just at the right time, even if there are worries. If there is any team that could stop Beyond Limits doing the historic double, it is them. 

Beyond Limits have lived up to their name, showing very well, why they are beyond the reach of their TCC opponents so far. The football they play is breathtaking, it will indeed take you, the opponent, beyond your limit, stifling you and leaving you with limited options or lifeline as it may. Imperial FC, another team on the up, lived up to the experience in the semifinal. 

In a clash of styles and philosophies, it is a fitting end to a beautiful season, and just like Eric Cantona enthuses, you only make beautiful music if you know how to play in the orchestra. To each their own, TCC’s beautiful music has been made possible by all teams, but most notable, the finalists in this beautiful orchestra.
