Emmydinho FC vs Iganmu FC
Friday, 14th January, 2022
Venue: Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne
Emmydinho and Iganmu start off the new TCC League season. Both sides finished sixth and seventh respectively last season and will be hoping for a much better start this time around.
For the home team, a great start to the season will depend on winning games. Their last win in the TCC came in February – almost a year ago. Since scoring four goals against Iganmu in the said game, they’ve not managed to win a game since.
Iganmu FC, on the other hand, could only manage eight points from 14 games last season, picking only two points away from home in 7 away games. If they’re to do any better this season, they have to start picking up those away points, starting with this game.
More importantly, they’ll need more than the 44% average ball possession they registered last season if they’re to finish higher than seventh this season.
Iganmu FC failed to win any of their seven away games in The Creative Championship last season. Faulty.
MAN TO WATCH
Mohamed Kola (Iganmu FC)
With an average of three successful dribbles per game last season, Iganmu will be counting heavily on their right-back to deliver in this clash.
