Real Sapphire can make it four wins on the bounce when they face Gbagada.

The reigning champions have put on quite the show in recent league outings, shaking off their poor form from 2025, and blazing past opponents in 2026. Defending their league title may be a little beyond reach now. But making a decent league finish is still within their grasp. And they’ll be hoping to make it happen by adding Gbagada to their list of vanquished opponents.

But the Blue Eagles will not make things easy for them. With two victories in their last two league trips, Coach Akinyelu’s side has shown that they can grind out wins, especially on enemy turf. Certainly far from being pushovers, they’ll be looking to slow Real Sapphire’s train down, either with a draw or a loss.
