“Musty” is a graduate of Mathematics and holds a professional certificate in coaching and training from the National Institute for Sports (NIS).
Being from the streets of Surulere, he developed a passion for coaching to create a positive impact in his immediate environment and has previously managed some grassroots teams including Nebulous FC of Suruler and City Boys FC of Ilorin.
Mustapha, who first came to Valiant as an assistant in 2022, was given the nod to lead the side on a permanent basis in the 2022/23 season and he went on to lead the Brave Boys to their first TCC Cup title win.
