Dannaz claimed yet another win, against Iganmu this time around, in the TCC League.
Both sides started the game rather cautiously, while also failing to convert the chances that came calling in the first half. While the strikers of both sides were struggling to convert, the midfield co-ordination was not helping matters too.
With the end of the first half drawing to a close, Patrick Wisdom put the home team in the league with a cool finish, handing the Iganmu Lions the lead going into the break.
The second half saw a resurgent Dannaz, as they started the half as the better side, creating chances and putting pressure on Iganmu. It didn’t take long for all their hard work to pay off as Savio Idezi showed why he is the man to be feared, by drawing his side level with his goal.
That was in the 56th minute, a goal that would later be followed up in the 61st with Dannaz’s second as Rasheed Jimoh was on hand to put the away side ahead.
The game would finish with Dannaz recording yet another away win, heaping more pressure on an Iganmu side, whose recent record has been anywhere but near impressive.
