Still in the running to win the first Creative Championship title, Dino SC travelled to take on Ijebu United. Four points behind their main title rivals, Remo Stars, Coach Godwin Gibson’s men knew what was at stake.
And that’s why they started out the game like a house on fire, creating early chances as they tried to break down the Ijebu United defense.
They would get the reward for all their hard work in the 16th minute when Elijah Adekunle found the back of the net for the visitors. With either of the two sides having the chance to move just one point behind Remo, Ijebu United stepped up to the plate after conceding the early goal, trying to find an equalizer.
Dino’s sturdy defense would prove to be the difference as the first half ended in favour of the visitors. The second half started like the first ended, with Ijebu United searching for an equalizer as Dino SC tried to maintain their lead.
Proceedings would remain the same throughout the rest of the game as Dino registered a third win in their last five, and yet another clean sheet.

The midfielder was instrumental in both creating chances for his side and ensuring that their lead was well protect. Talk about an all-round performance.
