Iganmu FC vs Emmydinho

Emmydinho and Iganmu shared the spoils at the Agege stadium after playing out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Lagos.

It was a game that all the goal action happened in the opening half hour while they failed to find a way past each other for the remainder of the game.

It was the away side who took the initiative and duly went ahead in the 10th minute through Jonathan Olateju’s goal and ten minutes later they doubled their advantage against the Lions through Kelechi Okuka’s finish.

Having gone to sleep for most part of the opening exchanges, the home side finally burst into life in the 26th minute. Lawrence David halved the deficit as we approached the half hour mark.

Two minutes later, they found themselves level through Adebayo Lateef’s goal. It stayed that way for the remainder of the first half.

Upon restart of the game, both sides puffed and puffed for another goal but it never came as they had to settle for a draw in the Lagos derby.

Iganmu FC and Emmydinho remain without a win in the TCC League in 2021 and they both stay in sixth and seventh respectively.

Man of the Match

Iganmu FC midfielder Lateef Adebayo played a key role in the comeback, grabbing a goal for himself. Besides that, he was the driving force for the Lions, though it didn’t get his team the win, but his performance was sufficient to earn him the MOTM.
