Real Sapphire Brush Imperial Aside to Continue Fine Form

Real Sapphire continued their fine form with a 3-1 win over Imperial in a rescheduled MatchDay 13 clash.

Unbeaten in their last three games, and with eight goals from that run of games, the visitors came into the game brimming with confidence. They were however stunned by their hosts in the 41st minute as Oseni Samod scored an Olimpico goal to break the deadlock.

After several 2nd half attempts, Real Sapphire eventually broke through in the 62nd minute. Akinfenwa Musa dribbled his way past his marker before firing a low shot into the net for the equalizer.

11 minutes from time, the visitors took the lead thanks to Joshua Ibrahim who kept his cool to fire home from close range. He grabbed a brace in the seventh minute of extra time, putting the game beyond Imperial for Real Sapphire’s third win on the bounce.
