Beyond Limits left it late to steal a point and hold Atlantic Business to a 2-2 draw.
The hosts shook off their recent poor form and got off to a fantastic start, breaking the deadlock in the 2nd minute. Destiny Timi was on hand to take advantage of a defensive error by Beyond Limits. His press forced Ali Azeez to bundle the ball into his own net.
The hosts kept up the pressure on their visitors and doubled their lead in the 36th minute when Bolaji Abdulraman rose highest to convert from a corner-kick. It took a superb Solomon save to deny Beyond Limits a 1st half goal as the hosts went into the break in front.
Beyond Limits switched up the tempo after the break and pulled one back in the 59th minute thanks to Peter Oyeniran’s strike that rolled beneath the goalkeeper’s arms. Solomon would make another save just before the 90th minute to keep his side in front. But there was nothing he could do Babatunde Abdullahi’s stoppage time equalizer as the champions drew level.
While Beyond Limits avoided falling to another Atlantic Business defeat this season, Coach Daniel Japhet’s side became the only team to avoid defeat against the champions this season.
MAN OF THE MATCH
