Beyond Limits Drop Points at Imperial but Maintain Unbeaten Run

For the first time in 16 games, Beyond Limits failed to win after being held to a 1-1 draw by Imperial.

Despite having wrapped up the league title days back, the champions got off the blocks with energy, looking to extend their record 15-game winning run. So, it was no surprise when Babatunde Abdullahi broke the deadlock in the 4th minute after taking advantage of a defensive mix-up in the Imperial defense.

The visitors continued their onslaught and almost made it two just before the break. Saka Yusuf’s effort from a free-kick situation however hit the woodwork as Beyond Limits went into the break with a slim lead.

Like their guests did in the 1st half, Imperial struck three minutes into the 2nd half, with Bashir Abdulkarim getting the equalizer. The goal shifted the momentum of the game as both sides opened up in search of the winner. The scoreline would however stay the same way till the end of the game as both sides settled for a point apiece.
