Gbagada's Fifth Draw of the Season Extends Winless Streak to Four Games

Gbagada capped off a February to forget with a goalless draw against Iganmu. 

Coach Akinyelu’s men came into the game hoping to finish off the month on a high. They were however met with an Iganmu side resolute not to lose. Both sides were locked in a game that produced only a handful of chances which they failed to make the most of – the most notable being Gome’s 20th minute big chance which he fluffed.

The 2nd half played out like the first, with very little for the fans to applaud. Both sides may have come into the game starved of a TCC League win, there wasn’t enough hunger in their performance. The game would end in a statement, extending both teams’ wait for a win.

While Iganmu are still without a win this season, the Blue Eagles are now without a win in over a month, signaling troubling times at the Lagos-based outfit.
