A slim 1-0 victory was enough for Valiant to bag maximum points and extend Dannaz’s wait for a first league win in 2026.
The Cedars have endured a torrid start to 2026, with no league goals and wins to their name this year. Their struggles up front were again evident in this game as they struggled to threaten the visitors’ goal. Valiant, on the other hand, were no better than their hosts, as they failed to take advantage of the situation, leading to a goalless 1st half.
All of that however changed 12 minutes into the 2nd half, with Valiant taking the lead. Samuel Michael was in the right place at the right time to poke the ball home from close range after a defensive mix up in the Dannaz set up.
What followed was 35 minutes of futile attempts to draw level, as well as Valiant’s missed opportunities to extend their lead. In the end, the result went Valiant’s way, earning the Brave Boys a first victory since November.
