Beyond Limits Squeeze Past Imperial to Sustain Title Momentum

Beyond Limits continued their winning run with a 1-0 victory over Imperial.

The hosts got off the blocks the faster team as they pummeled Imperial’s defense with a ream of attacks. Those chances however went begging as they lacked the clinicality upfront to finish them off.

The visitors ensured they finished the 1st half without conceding, keeping the Ikenne-based side at bay. They however came into the 2nd half the better side as they created more chances. Despite their renewed vigour, like their opponents, they failed to find the breakthrough.

The stalemate lasted until the 77th minute when Adjagba Bilal fired one home for the hosts. Having come on in the 46th minute, he was on hand to tuck home from close range after Samuel Adjetey’s initial save. His goal would prove to be the difference as they extended their lead at the top to five points.
