Easy Business For Atlantic Over Tigers

Atlantic Business bounced back to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Iganmu.

After losing their outstanding game (v. Imperial) during the week, God’s Own Team came into the clash desperate for a win to stay in touch with the log leaders.

But it was the visitors who threatened to break the deadlock in the 21st minute. Ibrahim Wasiu was however up to the task as the Iganmu onslaught was dealt with. Five minutes later, Aaron Inyam put the hosts ahead, finishing off a well-worked corner kick routine with a scissors kick.

In the 35th minute, Gbenga Johnson extended Atlantic Business’ lead after connecting well with a cross by Owobo Sabitu. On the stroke of half-time, the hosts made it three to the good, Owobo again creating from the left, with Dimeji Kilani finishing off the chance this time.

The hosts came into the 2nd half like a team behind, creating chances and chasing more goals. But they’d have to wait till the 79th minute before Joshua Obus added a fourth. The fifth of the game came in the second minute of stoppage time, with Chinonso putting the cherry on the cake for Coach Japheth’s side.

A comprehensive victory for Atlantic Business who maintain their 100% form at home.
