Sporting Lagos Come From Behind to Secure Victory

For only a second time this season, Sporting Lagos recorded a home victory in the TCC League. 

Coach Paul’s side scored three times as they dispatched Iganmu 3-1. But it was everything but smooth sailing. The hosts went behind in the 55th minute, as Faruk Ajagbe broke the deadlock, putting Iganmu in front.

The hosts however drew level 15 minutes later, with Abuchi Lawrence getting one back. In the 78th minute, Lawrence doubled his tally, putting Sporting Lagos in front for the first time. They’d go on to seal the win with a third goal, scored in the 87th minute by Fuad Ojediran

It’s a first win for Sporting Lagos since the 5th of October, signalling a return to form for the Lagosians.
