All 12 teams kick off their TCC Cup campaign this weekend as the race for glory begins.
Competing teams have been drawn into two groups, each containing six sides.
Beyond Limits, having won the last two editions of the tournament, have been drawn in Group B. The team to beat, Coach Olumide’s lads commence their title defense against a familiar foe, Gbagada. The Blue Eagles will have their hands full as they face a side with a 100% record in the league this season.
With Sporting Lagos being another Lagos-based side in Group B, we’re set to witness a TCC Cup version of the Lagos derby this season. But before that, Sporting will kick off their campaign against Atlantic Business. Iganmu and Dannaz make up the other competitors in the group.
In Group A, reigning league champions Real Sapphire headline the group. They start off their campaign against Broad City. It’s a repeat of their opening game of the 25/26 TCC League season, which they drew.
High-flying VOE have won two league games on the bounce, the most recent victory coming against Dino. They kick off their league campaign against the same side this weekend, aiming to maintain their 100% start to their season. Valiant can get a first win of the 25/26 season when they face Imperial this weekend.
