Two wins on the bounce for Beyond Limits, Broad City stumble

Beyond Limits made it two wins on the bounce as they defeated Broad City 2-0.

Despite playing away, Coach Olumide’s team quickly took control of the game, dominating proceedings. Six minutes after, and with a team in full flow, Beyond Limits raced into the lead. Saka Yusuf beat the Broad City offside trap and fired the opener into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

Letting one in that early threw Broad City off balance. All their efforts to draw level proved futile as Beyond Limits overwhelmed them, time and again. The visitors would further complicate matters for Broad City as they doubled their lead in the 5th minute of first half stoppage time.

Merveille Akinocho was on hand to tap the ball into an open net after Emmanuel Obi failed to hold onto a goal attempt.

The storyline of the second half followed the first. Broad City were kept busy by the Beyond Limits offense; too busy to get their own goal. The game ended in defeat for Coach Ogunmoyero’s boys as the search for a first win of the season continues
