TCC teams are set to end the month of January the same way they started it – competing for points in the TCC Cup games. 

In Group A, 2021 cup champions, Gbagada, can secure top spot in the group with a win over Dannaz. Unbeaten in the competition this season, the Blue Eagles are flying high. They’ll be aiming for their first back-to-back victory in the cup competition this season.

In Group A’s other fixture, Imperial will square off against Broad City. Both sides have just one TCC Cup win between them this season. Placed fifth and sixth respectively, both sides enter this contest seeking a late push for a place in the knockout stages. A first clean sheet in the campaign will not suffice for both sides here. It’s win or go home.

In Group B, Escola will be fighting for pride as they take on Iganmu FC. Aside from conceding the most goals in the cup this season (15), Escola have lost all four games played. Yet to register a point, they’ll be looking to drag Iganmu out of the competition with them.

In the group’s other fixture, it’s third versus fourth as Atlantic Business faces Valiant. With four points separating both sides, a win for the hosts will secure their passage to the next round. For Valiant, a win will take them to six points, boosting their chances of making it to the next phase of the competition.
