High-flying Sporting Lagos resume their Championship business this weekend when they host Imperial.

Both sides have been easily two of the best in the Championship this season, placing second and fourth on the log respectively.

Catch up will be the name of the game for Imperial this weekend as they sit two points behind their opponents. A win can send them into a top three spot as they continue their bid to catch up with Beyond Limits.

As high-flying as Coach Adedeji Ayeoba’s side have been this season – they’re the only side to score six times in more than one Championship game – they still have to be wary of their opponents.

Led by Coach Ogunmoyeru Oluwaseun, Sporting have had a blistering start to life in the Championship.They’ve lost only once so far this season and are the third-highest scoring side in the Championship, behind Beyond Limits and Imperial.

Having scored at least two goals in each of their last three Championship games, they’re more than a handful for any side in the Championship, including the most prolific team in the Championship, Imperial.
